Joe, Reid · How to use this site

Fourth practice call on the new page, run by Claude end to end with a spoken script and two signed-in profiles. Every page check passed: the start answers saved, the name box held while typing, the nudge, the research request and the bug note each landed in the feed with the right kind, the bug note was not answered, and a tab reload sat twelve seconds on the rejoin screen with no false call-ended. The read-back got no spoken yes, so the decision stays unsure.

  • Use the Excel inventory as the source for the title index, because Said once on a practice call; no spoken yes at the read-back. Waiting on: Joe

Read-back: one decision, one to-do

Two things to read back. Say yes to each, or say what is wrong.

Decision: use the Excel inventory as the source for the title index. Said by Joe, not yet confirmed.

To-do: move the scanner work to next week so the title index gets attention first. No owner yet.

Who else sells caption tooling for Meet

Short answer: a few companies sell caption and note tools that sit in Google Meet, and Google itself ships captions and Gemini notes inside Meet.

  • Google: live captions and translated captions are built into Meet, and Gemini can take notes on Workspace plans.
  • Otter.ai: a bot joins the call and writes a live transcript and summary.
  • Fireflies.ai: same shape, a bot that joins and transcribes.
  • tl;dv and Fathom: recorders that join the call and produce notes and clips.

What ours does differently: it reads the captions already on the runner's screen, so no bot joins the call, and it chairs the call instead of only recording it. I did not look this up live on this call; it is from what I already know, so treat the product list as a starting point.

Here, and listening

Here, and listening. The nudge came through with your name and the time.

So far on this call: the start answers are in, the understanding has your idea, decision and question, and the research request is running. The bug note you typed is on the record and nobody answered it, which is the point.

What is open on the checker

I have no record called the checker, so here is what is open on the work it most likely means, the title index and deal intake.

  • Which document types the first pass must cover, and what counts as a complete record for a closed deal.
  • Who runs the plain-code pass on the other seven document types so there is a bar to beat.
  • Whether the 27 test documents stay, or Reid's 198 checked documents replace them.

If the checker means something else, say "Hey Claude" and tell me which project it belongs to.

Getting started

Three quick questions to get us going. Say them out loud or type them on the agenda card.

  1. Who is here today?
  2. How long do we have?
  3. What do we want to walk out with?

Listening

Claude is listening. Say "Hey Claude, ..." in the call and the reply appears here.
